I’m Jason Hurt, a passionate leader with over 27 years of experience in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. As the founder and CEO of Chariots4Hope, I’ve dedicated my career to removing transportation barriers for low-income individuals, helping them secure reliable transportation to improve their lives. Through innovative programs like our Vehicle Ownership Program and SafeRoute, I’ve worked to support vulnerable communities, including victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, ensuring they have the transportation they need to stay safe and rebuild their lives.
Before founding Chariots4Hope, I gained invaluable leadership experience, including serving as a Claims Director at GEICO, where I managed complex operations and financial oversight. As the owner/operator of Christian Brothers Automotive, I developed a deep understanding of building strong client relationships and running a successful business. Today, I also work as a nonprofit consultant, mentoring new and established nonprofit leaders, helping them navigate the challenges of growth and sustainability.
My journey has been shaped by a commitment to service, strategic thinking, and a desire to create lasting change. Whether I’m helping individuals at Chariots4Hope or empowering nonprofit founders to reach their potential, my focus remains on making a positive impact in the communities I serve.
